Rock Salt Massage




  1. Pour 1 cup of Rock salt (Ice cream salt) into a frying pan without water.
  2. Heat up the Rock salt on the stove until it is hot.
  3. Pour the Rock salt onto a thick cotton cloth (about 12 in. by 12 in. in size).
  4. Bundle it up to form a ball. Tightly tie the end with a string or rubber band.
  5. Rub down the area with enough pressure applied.
  6. When it cools down, reheat and continue rubbing for about 5 – 10 minutes until
    you feel the blood circulation coming back to the area.
  • Stir the Rock salt well while heating it up to ensure even distribution of
    the heat.
  • It is usually hot enough when the salt start making popping sound.
  • Please be cautious. It may burn your skin when you make a direct contact
    with the hot Rock salt.
